This option is the right choice if you would like to focus on a specific area of learning: grammar, comprehension, reading or writing. I will build this course around your unique interests and needs.

During your first lesson, I will define your level of Italian and decide which level you would like to aim for. Your weekly hours will be decided by you.

// groups

Each course consists of 10 lessons of 1.5 hours or 3 hours. Each course is based on a programme that allows you to increase your confidence, competence and comprehension of the Italian language in a rapid and efficient way. The group classes give you the possibility to meet other like-minded people and enjoy learning Italian together in a social, friendly and motivating environment. Online courses will take place over Zoom.

I offer weekly lessons for the duration of 1 hour and will be structured considering the age and the language level of the young student. Maths, Geography, History, Science, Writing and Listening will become easier through painting, drawings, songs and stories. Listening and speaking are the main aims of this course.

Learning is a complex process and eventually, it will be your children deciding when they are ready to speak! In the meanwhile, we will be ready to offer our experience and specific age materials to motivate them.

Intensive

Intensive courses are divided into levels, from “complete beginner” to “advanced”. Levels are designed to give you the confidence to speak and listen in Italian.

Each course consists of a 4 or 2-hours intensive lesson per day and you will start speaking Italian with confidence from the very first lesson. You will enjoy your learning in a relaxed but focused atmosphere, and the lessons are designed to keep you motivated throughout the course.

You can choose to do this course online or in person. If you choose in person you will enjoy learning Italian in the spectacular city of Lecce!

Certifications: Italian Citizenship Exam (CILS / CELI) or GCSE

one-to-one

As a certified “CILS Examiner”, I know how to approach this exam from the inside, and we offer a specific preparation for it.

The CILS certification is a qualification issued by the University for Foreigners of Siena which declares the level of linguistic and communicative competences in Italian as a foreign language. The exam can be taken at each of the six competency levels as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

I will provide you with preparation regarding the different skills required. The preparation analyses and tests the evidence of previous examinations, while also carrying out specific problems that I may identify.

Business

Each course, consisting of 10 lessons of 1 hour each, is designed for students and companies who are interested in doing business with Italy, or want to learn Italian for professional reasons.

The programme focuses on the Italian language of business, aiming at providing students with basic vocabulary and professional expressions. After identifying these, the student is helped to assimilate them through targeted exercises and discussions.

Italian Conversation

This conversation course is aimed at students already at an intermediate or advanced level.

The classes place an emphasis on a specific topic that you want to discuss, a book, a film, arts, food or something that interested you. During the lesson I will help you to build your confidence, improve your pronunciation and increase your vocabulary, by enabling you to tackle a variety of everyday situations.

At every lesson you can express your interest for the following lesson and we will prepare a 1-hour lesson that suits perfectly to your interest.

What a better way to approach Italian culture through food?

In this session, during your stay in Lecce, you will be part of a two hours course to learn how to make Orecchiette Pasta or a focaccia and Dessert with food wine pairings and a lunch or dinner included with me in collaboration with a local bistrot shop!

Art and Shopping

Learning is fun, but what about having MORE fun??

In each course proposed it is offered the possibility to organise two days in which you will have the possibility to walk around Lecce, and appreciate its magnific Barocco landscape (while doing some shopping, buy groceries, order a coffee or visit a museum, why not?).

Prepare confy shoes, in Lecce there are more Churces than people!

Walking Tour

Learning is fun, but what about having MORE fun??

In this session, during your stay in Lecce, you will be part of a Walking tour with an experience guide in Lecce with storyteller and tasting of Pasticciotto & Espressino, olive oil and Pizzella. Before and after this experience we will have fun going around Lecce with a map, finding secret places and asking information to people!

Papermachè Workshop

In each course proposed it is offered the possibility to organise a Papermaché workshop with a local artisan with food and wine tasting at the end of the experience!
